We past the summer solstice signifying that half the year is behind us. As we wind down with 2012 it is a great time to investigate some investments with great potential for the rest of the year, and even into 2013, which is not far away.
The following companies have shown strong possibilities for growth and a past performance record of regular dividend payouts. These companies are steady and strong.
• Majesco Entertainment Company: MEC develops and markets video games and related products for the family-oriented consumer to work with Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft and Apple platforms.
• Vanguard Natural Resources: This company is involved in the acquisition and development of oil and natural gas properties in the US, mostly in Kentucky, Tennessee, Texas and New Mexico.
• Emerson Radio Corporation: ERC is a full-service company which provides everything from designing, sourcing, importing, marketing, selling and licensing a broad spectrum of consumer electronic products. They operate domestically and internationally.
• Edison International: Via its subsidiaries Edison International supplies electric power to much of the state of California. In 2009 Edison provided electricity to about 400 cities and communities amounting to a population of some 13 million residents.
• Wendy’s Company: through its subsidiary Wendy’s International, the company operates as a franchisor of the Wendy’s restaurant system, which specializes in hamburger fast food cuisine. At the end of 2011 Wendy’s had about 6,500 franchise and company restaurants throughout the US and its territories, and in another 26 countries around the world.
